The Miltex Xcision brand of forceps are the original forceps featuring a unique, light weight, ergonomic handle. They feature a smooth handle with circular openings. This helps reduce hand and wrist fatigue and makes the instrument easier to clean. The Xcision forceps have a resistant Teflon disc which helps reduce wear in the joint of the instruments. They also feature a slim, compact design for easy access to molars.

The Miltex Xcision Extracting Forceps have been designed to allow subgingival access to the root while removing the tooth. The beaks are anatomically shaped and tapered, which allows them to penetrate deeper into the tooth socket and maximize the tooth-to-forcep contact. Serrated breaks allow for better gripping of the tooth surface, which helps aid in the atraumatic extraction of the tooth and reduces the risk of featuring the tooth structure or casuing trauma to the surrounding hard and soft tissues.
