J. Morita's TwinPower Turbine now features ceramic ball bearings. Forty percent lighter and 3 times harder than conventional bearings, they offer extended turbine life, reduced operation noise, and less vibration. For maximum torque control, TwinPower’s unique double-impeller design provides up to 22 W of power. Other features include mini head option, zero suck back in the air line, rapid braking within 2 seconds, glass rod optics, and direct connection to popular coupling systems.
The TwinPower operates by air from the drive air nozzles powering the primary impeller. The exhaust air is then directed through fixed fins, which power the secondary impeller. The result is that the handpiece is more powerful and provides constant torque and controlled speed, even under load.
